The walls in your home feel cold to the touch even when the heat is running. You can see your breath in certain rooms during winter, and your energy bills keep climbing higher each month. Central Insulation Systems Inc. handles fiberglass wall insulation installation across Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.
Why You Can Trust Us
Fiberglass wall insulation appears as pink or yellow batting material between wall studs in homes built from the 1950s through today. You'll see it when you remove drywall during renovations, or notice it's missing entirely in older homes that were never properly insulated. The material looks fluffy but compressed, and should fill the entire cavity between studs without gaps or bunching.
Without proper wall insulation, you're heating and cooling the outdoors through your walls. Cold spots appear in rooms that face north or get wind exposure. Your HVAC system works overtime trying to maintain temperature, and certain areas of your house become unusable during extreme weather. Other contractors won't quote drywall work until the insulation problem gets fixed first.
Central Insulation Systems Inc. removes your existing wall covering to access the stud cavities that need insulation. The crew measures each space and cuts fiberglass batts to fit snugly without compression or gaps. They install each piece with the vapor barrier facing the heated side of your home and seal any penetrations around electrical or plumbing. New drywall installation and finishing are included in the same job so you get a complete wall ready for paint.
Your rooms will hold temperature evenly from floor to ceiling. The cold spots disappear and your heating bills drop to normal levels. You can use every room in your house year-round without layering clothes or running space heaters.

high energy bills need more insulation
Your heating and cooling bills keep going up. Your house feels drafty in winter and hot in summer. You think you need more insulation but don't know where to start.
Start with your attic. Most heat loss happens through the roof. Check if your attic insulation meets current R-value requirements for your climate zone. Add blown-in fiberglass insulation to reach R-38 to R-60 depending on your location.
house cold high energy bills insulation
Your heating bill doubled this winter. Some rooms are always cold. You can feel drafts but don't know where they're coming from.
Check your attic insulation first. Most heat loss happens through the roof. If you can see floor joists through the insulation, you need more. R-38 to R-60 blown insulation typically pays for itself in 2-3 years.
adding insulation to old house worth it
Your house is 20+ years old with little insulation. You're wondering if it's worth upgrading now or if you should have done it when the house was built.
It's never too late to add insulation. Older houses often have the most to gain from upgrades. You can blow insulation into existing walls and add attic insulation anytime. Most projects pay for themselves within 3-5 years.
