Founded by Steve Kirby in 1988, Central Insulation Systems, Inc. began as a privately owned insulation company with a location on Central Parkway in Cincinnati, Ohio. As the client list expanded, so did the business, taking on larger insulation projects, and becoming a licensed asbestos removal contractor along with other environmental services. As the years went on the company continued to grow, until it outgrew the Central Parkway location, prompting a move to our current location in St. Bernard. Central Insulation Systems, Inc. (CIS) is staffed with experienced, fully trained and certified insulation, asbestos removal, lead paint, and mold abatement personnel. Our specialists have been trained for all phases of home insulation projects, commercial, and industrial insulation and fireproofing projects. CIS is a company that understands the inherent risks for all parties involved in the asbestos removal, environmental contracting and remediation business. We strive to utilize our professional management experience and state-of-the-art techniques to meet the needs of our clients. CIS maintains a general liability insurance program, including environmental coverage, through International Fidelity Insurance Company, an A rated company. The coverage is written on an occurrence basis with limits of $6,000,000 per occurrence. CIS provides surety bonds through USI Midwest Insurance Company; an AM Best rated bonding company. Our bonding capacity has always been sufficient to meet our client’s needs. CIS is an experienced, aggressive company with a proven record of successfully completed projects all across the United States including Hawaii. Capable of managing projects of a varied size and scope of work, CIS will continue to work with clients to complete projects to their satisfaction.
