How We Started
Founded by Steve Kirby in 1988, Central Insulation Systems, Inc. began as a privately owned insulation contractor serving the Cincinnati, Ohio area from its original location on Central Parkway. What started as a small insulation company quickly expanded as demand grew for high-quality insulation, environmental services, and licensed asbestos removal.
How We Grew
As the client base increased, the company took on larger commercial and industrial projects and expanded its capabilities to include environmental remediation services. Continued growth eventually led to relocating to the company’s current facility in St. Bernard, allowing Central Insulation Systems, Inc. (CIS) to support larger operations and more complex projects.
Today, CIS is staffed with experienced, fully trained, and certified professionals specializing in insulation, licensed asbestos removal, lead paint removal, and mold abatement services. Our team is trained to handle all phases of residential, commercial, and industrial insulation projects, as well as fireproofing and environmental remediation work.
Central Insulation Systems understands the risks involved in asbestos removal and environmental contracting. We use professional management practices, proven safety procedures, and state-of-the-art techniques to protect our clients, their properties, and project stakeholders while delivering efficient and reliable results.
To ensure confidence and security on every project, CIS maintains a comprehensive general liability insurance program, including environmental coverage, through International Fidelity Insurance Company, an A-rated provider. Coverage is written on an occurrence basis with limits of $6,000,000 per occurrence. The company also provides surety bonds through USI Midwest Insurance Company, an AM Best-rated bonding provider, with bonding capacity sufficient to meet client requirements.
Central Insulation Systems, Inc. has successfully completed projects across the United States, including work in Hawaii, demonstrating the company’s ability to manage projects of varying size and scope. Our experience, technical expertise, and commitment to quality allow us to consistently deliver results that meet or exceed client expectations.
